STARCHAK’s SS25 collection invites everyone to discover where they truly feel safe. Inspired by authentic Ukrainian homes, the collection reflects their architectural forms and decorative details, translating them into contemporary garments.

“When I look at traditional houses, I see more than just a home as a building. I see the unique story of a region and the people who live there. Every house is a work of art, carefully preserved and passed down through generations,” says designer Maria Starchak.

Remaining true to the brand’s philosophy, the collection combines upcycled garments with newly created pieces. The architectural silhouettes symbolize a house built from its kut (corner)—strong, enduring, and always offering protection. The collection is dominated by natural tones, while the idea of traditional Ukrainian vytynanky (paper cuttings) is reinterpreted through detachable collars, ties, and other garments featuring patterns inspired by the ornamentation of historic homes.

A distinctive detail of the collection is the handcrafted wooden darmovys comb, inspired by traditional woodcarving motifs. It balances the geometric precision of the silhouettes with a sense of warmth and naïveté.
