STARCHAK is a Ukrainian independent fashion brand founded by designer Maria Starchak in Lviv in 2019. Working at the intersection of fashion, art, and design, the brand combines architectural tailoring, upcycling, and contemporary interpretations of classic forms.

Working with reconstructed vintage garments as well as carefully selected new materials, STARCHAK explores clothing as a medium for storytelling. Each collection begins with a question, investigating themes of identity, memory, freedom, home, and the relationship between the individual and society.

Alongside its ready-to-wear collections, STARCHAK develops custom stage costumes for Ukrainian and international artists, creating garments that become an integral part of each performance’s visual narrative.

The brand’s design language is defined by expressive silhouettes, craftsmanship, deconstruction, and thoughtful construction. STARCHAK creates garments that balance functionality with artistic expression and are designed to exist beyond seasonal trends.

Today, STARCHAK collaborates with Ukrainian and international artists, musicians, and cultural figures. The brand has been presented at Ukrainian Fashion Week and featured in Vogue Ukraine, ELLE, Marie Claire, and other Ukrainian and international media.
